3You get what you pay forOct 15, 2007
We purchased this for our baby's room as it currently has no closet. It was purchased at a local retailer's for a very good price (under $150). It fit out budget and we weren't looking for a super duper fancy wardrobe since it was for a child who will undoubtedly find a way to ruin nice furniture!

Assembly was a real pain. The instructions are kind of backwards for assembly and there were a couple of broken pieces upon opening the package. The company was happy to replace them, but with a new baby expected, we were in a crunch and just made due with what we had/didn't have.

Overall, it is true that you get what you pay for. This should last us aboaut $150 worth. I'm glad I didn't pay any more (although I'm wishing the store offered to assemble for a fee - I definitely would have paid for that!). We're not quite finished assembling it yet - still have to put on the doors, drawers - and just the framework took over 5 hours (3 people) to work on it.

It's a nice alternative to an expensive armoire.
