Good idea, but it always leaks!Jul 30, 2008 I love that these are made with safer materials but beware that they absolutely leak! Pretty much everytime we use it there is a nice milk ring or water ring on the table. This makes the cup virtually useless for me because I bought it so my son could carry it around the house without spilling all over the place! Okay, it doesn't gush, but it definitely drips enough and to me, dripping milk or even water all over the house is not okay. I expected better quality for the high price.
Better than mostJul 13, 2008 I tried the Avent sippy cups and my twins couldn't suck hard enough to get the liquid out. I decided to search for a better and healthier brand of bottles when I came across these. They are similar to the Avent bottles in that they leak if you don't screw them together correctly. I wish the hourglass shape went all the way around because the nipples don't line up pefectly so you have to turn the handle and it no longer lines up with the indented section. I also wish they provided a bottle brush because I prefer to hand wash them even though they are dishwasher safe. I don't run my dishwasher every day and the less any plastic container is heated the better to me. I am using the Avent bottle brush because there bottles have a similar shape but it doesn't get down into the bottom as well as it needs to.
Safe but Leaks too much.Jul 10, 2008 Easy to clean and assemble, but it leaks a lot. I have put the lid on when inserting into purse or bag and accumulated water spills out of the lid once it is removed.
Overall, very good sippy!Jun 26, 2008 I think my daughter definitely likes this sippy cup! We purchased it because it is free of BPA and other dangerous chemicals. We also use the Born Free training cups as well.
The Thinkbaby cups are nice because they don't have as many parts to wash. The only thing that I don't particularly care for is the fact that sometimes the spout inverts into the cup! The first time I saw the cup like this I thought the spout fell off, but it was just inside the cup! My daughter looked so confused when that happened. It's only happened a few times, but for as expensive as these are, you would think they'd be perfect!
However, the cup doesn't leak at all and is very nice. I purchased my Thinkbaby cups from Linen Major and they were $8.99 each. Even though I gave 4 stars, I'd highly recommend this cup!
Awesome CupMay 27, 2008 I love this cup. It does not leak and is easy to clean. The handles turn and you do not have to match them up with the spout when you put it together. I wish they were cheaper, but I love them.
