Look who's coming around the track on their own "old fashion" train! Your 1 1/2 to 3 year old will love their Santa Fe Train set, which comes complete with its own 76" x 93" oval track set. Their teddy bear or doll can ride in the caboose as they chug around the track at 1 1/2 mph on their very own electric train. Push button controls operate the on-off switch and integrated electronic sounds. The totally enclosed wiring, motor and gearbox are safely away from little hands.

Woo HOOOMar 18, 2008 My Daughter loves this toy, very easy set up and take down. Very easy to put together. My daughter doesn't go a day without riding a couple of laps. Even gives her stuffed animals a ride with the extra car. Great absoultly great!!

Peg-Perego might be stretching themselvesJan 21, 2007 My recommendation to Peg Perego is hire a new writer for your company's "Use and Care Manuals."
Some suggestions for the Santa Fe Train Set (model: IGED 1084) Manual's writer:
(1)Add the word "MULTIPLE" before the word "adult" in the statement, "Adult assembly required." [i.e., "Multiple Adult Assembly Required"] (2) Explain that the assembly plant will be providing Phillips screws that are LARGER THAN THE HOLES intended for the screws. (3) Although the writer does a fine job explaining the battery installation, it will be helpful to EXPLAIN HOW TO SECURE THE ENGINE'S WHEELS using the foot pedals. Go ahead and INCLUDE DIAGRAMS for this portion of assembly as you did in other parts of the manual.
Peg Perego's Primo Viaggio SIP Infant Seat was reviewed in 2006 (along with other infant seats) for its "Ease of Use." NOT SURPRISING that the only *B* rating they received was in the category of EVALUATION OF INSTRUCTIONS.
Peg Perego! YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!!!
P.S. When the Ft. Wayne customer service reps are not available by phone, I suggest *NOT* saying, "Due to an emergency, we cannot help you. Call Back"
P.P.S. Close to 3 weeks following delivery, this story has a happy ending. THE KIDS DO LIKE THE TRAIN! [sigh of relief!]

The Great Train RideJan 04, 2007 I highly recommend this item. My husband and I charged the battery and put what little there was together of the train and stashed it away in the spare bedroom so when our 19 month old daughter was done opening her other Christmas gifts we could just pull it out. She immediately said choo choo train, toot toot! She proceeded to climb on and press the go button like she was born to ride it. She took off around the house crashing into walls with the dogs barking and chasing her because we had not laid down the track yet. Oh what fun it was to watch her ride. We immediately put the track together, very easy I might add, and around she went (no more crashing into walls). She played on the train the first day for at least an hour that moring and at least a half hour two more times that day. Any one with an 19 month old knows that is a long time to keep one that age amused. She plays with the train everyday and always with a huge smile. Love, love, love this item. Well made, great quality, worth every penny.

Lasts Forever?Aug 03, 2006 We bought this for my son's second birthday. He's 4 and a half now and still rides on it all of the time, without the track. This thing just keeps going and going. We plan to give it to another kid who just turned 3. Charge the battery about once a week and it's good to go. We highly recommend it.
