I love this pumpNov 23, 2008 I am a SAHM, so I don't need a duel pump. This pump works very well for the occasional pumping I need. It is very comfortable and easy to use...a little bit noisy, but not too bad. I strongly recommend it!
Long LastingNov 22, 2008 I am still nursing my 10 month old and pump a bottle or two a day. This pump still has great suction, just as good as when I got it 8 months ago. The bottles were okay for feeding, sometimes they'd leak, but now that my son uses a cup I find the bottles work very well for storage - They are a great BPA-free alternative to glass. The cheap hand operated pumps I've had are crappy and fall apart - plus I was always afraid to wash them in hot water, because god knows what they're made out of that might leach into the milk.
Not for meNov 21, 2008 Well, this pump must work for some people, based on the number of good reivews, but it doesn't work for me--unless I have over an hour to pump 4 oz. I don't know whether it is the suction or the speed, but it just takes forever to get not nearly enough milk! Also, this pump has turned off on me for no reason! (I work from home and don't pump often, so nothing should be worn out yet!)
I really like the fact that it is a single pump, as I only pump one side at a time, but this product just isn't good enough to feed my daughter with a bottle, forget about keeping my supply up. So, I'm still on the search for a good pump. (Lansinoh is my next try, even though it's a double.)
Good luck!
Better than hospital gradeNov 17, 2008 I tried the hospital grade medela and the pump really hurts. This pump gradually pulls your milk down. GREAT PUMP.
Love It!Nov 13, 2008 While pregnant, I was sure I wouldn't use a breast pump. I found them intimidating and I thought they were too complicated...
Then my sister gave me this one, and it couldn't be easier to use. It's efficient. Depending on my milk supply (whether or not I just nursed, etc) I can pump 1-4 oz. in about 15-20 minutes.
This pump has truly been a life and sanity saver (I pump one bottle for the 1st nighttime feeding that my husband so wonderfully does for me so I can sleep!) with my 3 wk old son! I am so happy to have this pump!
