Maclaren Provides Terrible Customer Service!Aug 23, 2008
I purchased the Twin Techno stroller in 2007. It was under warranty for one year. The wheel on the stroller broke within the warrenty period. Due to safety concerns, Maclaren will not send a replacement part, which I understand, but they ask you to send the stroller to an authorized service dealer. If you live in New York, then you're in luck, but the closest dealer to St. Louis is in Atlanta, GA. This is a very large stroller and UPS wanted $95 to build a box to house the stroller. Maclaren refused to pay for packaging. They advised that I go to a sporting goods store to find a box!!! Unbelieveable! Their product is defective and I am supposed to run around to sporting good stores looking for a box big enough to ship this stroller?!?! Not to mention, I still can't figure out how to fold this stroller fully. I will certainly never purchase a Maclaren product again. For ease of use, I much prefer the Graco I purchased to replace this monstrosity!
