4We own two of these seats...Jul 30, 2008
Great seat for the price. Nice features. Love the detachable cup holder and pocket. We are still using these rear facing and have had them for about 4 months. I do get frustrated sometimes because when rear facing, the release and tighten straps can fall down and be difficult to reach, but it's a small price to pay for safety (rear facing.) I sometimes get the straps twisted, but they are really simple to adjust and re-thread, which is nice when you need to move them up or down for the child's height or untangle a strap here or there. This seat is SO nicely padded. The only problem we have is that even when the seat is level, when my daughter (now 11 months old) sleeps, her head slumps forward. In both a Ford Explorer and a new Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. I believe this happens with most rear facing toddler size seats though, and no use of blankets, head supports, or anything helps that situation. The detachable pillow makes it worse, so we removed ours. It might come in handy when the seat is forward facing. Worth the money.

UPDATE: We have now been using these seats forward facing for 2 months. The seat is really great and tight fitting when forward facing and latch attached. It works nicely without latch also. I find it SUPER easy to install with latch, and my daughter is always comfortable and doesn't slouch or slump like she did with it rear facing. She is 14 months old and still can't reach what's in the side pouch, but she can now reach the cupholder, which is handy. It's also much easier to release the straps when she is front facing. The straps seem to twist REALLY easily (more so than when she was rear facing and more than our Chicco Infant seat did) so I find myself taking the seat out at least once a month and re-routing the straps. But this is also very easy and the straps adjust heights easily also.
