We didn't have any problems with shipping or with the item coming in damaged-that seems to be the complaint we keep reading. Overall the dresser was very nice. It is EXACTLY as described. All the pieces were with it. The instructions were clear and it was easy to put together. It did cost quite a bit to ship because of the weight. The face pieces of the dresser are only held on with wooden dowels so when you pick it up to move it you have to be careful not to loosen the wood. I actually used liquid nails to secure these. Everything else was good.

I bought this 5 drawer chest and a matching night table. It seemed like a lot of parts to put together but once I focused it took about 2 hours to assemble the chest then just 20 minutes to assemble the night stand as we then knew what we were doing. The knobs are solid and aside for the assembly time the pieces look great in our Guest Bedroom. I plan to buy the matching bench for our entryway and another nightstand.

I am very unhappy with this purchase. There are several spots on the chest where the paper that covers the particle board is bubbling or has come completely off. It was shipped with missing screws and while the people at Customer Service were quick to ship us the missing parts I still feel that this was a huge waste of money. I love Target but feel they should no longer carry this line of products.

We ordered this piece along with the 6 drawer dresser and the nightstand. All of which had scratches on them. This piece, however had the most damanged. It took Target three times to send us this before we got one that wasn't extremely damanged. We had to repackage and ship back the first two which was a headache on it's own. Even the UPS man told us he has to pick up a lot of Target stuff because they don't package it well and it should really be sesnt Freight instead of UPS ground. I love the look of the piece and wish it was better quality.

When it arrived, I almost sent it back because I didn’t realize I need to assemble it. I’m glad I didn’t. It was a good education for me learning to assemble something and I had some help from my Dad. The unit looks great and I am very happy. I love the look of the nickel knobs against the black. All in all the value was very good and it was delivered to my apartment which was very important as I don’t have a car. I’m hoping my Dad follows through on his promise to get me a matching nightstand (hey dad).
