3Missing PartsApr 10, 2007
This bedroom set is beautiful for the money but I ordered it a year ago and screws were missing for some of the handles and I called to get more screws and still haven't seen any. Then, I went to a hardware store to buy replacement screws but they are a special size that is not available in stores. If I had all the screws, I would give this a better rating because the set is gorgeous.

1A Buyer's nightmare: 3 deliveries broken goods, no refundMar 10, 2005
Dealing with this company (Home and Living, formerly 3 Day Furniture) has been an absolute nightmare. 3 deliveries of broken furniture, seller incompetence and indifference, refused refunds, stalling, broken promises...everythig that could possibly have gone wrong with this order did. It has been over 3 months and the order is still not complete.

The order I made on Nov.28, 2004 is STILL not complete and I fear the order will never be complete NOR will I get my money back. It took SIX weeks before the first delivery of severely damaged furniture arrived in Jan 2005. I had to refuse the delivery. They sent me a check for $200 and apologized and I was hopeful that the situation would be resolved. I was wrong. 2 weeks later, a second delivery was received with only half the pieces severely damaged. I had to refuse those parts. I informed 3 Day and MovingMasters at once. 5 weeks went by with neither company attempting to contact me. Ater I contacted 3 Day Furniture, they admitted that they sat on my order for another two weeks until Feb 1. From the refusal of the second delivery in January until the arrival of the third delivery in March, almost SEVEN weeks went by. This time, the delivery contained incorrect, mismatched furniture. This narration only covers the deliveries. I cannot adeqately express the frustrating process I went through in my attempts to contact them and find someone who would respond to all the problems. They repeatedly made promises that they had no intention of fulfilling, and they tried to cut corners by ordering their mover subcontractors to dump the furniture at my threshhold instead of delivering it to my bedroom and assembling it for me. They had promised to do the former. Now, after 3 months of never-ending frustration, I have asked to end the whole fiasco. They promised me a refund but have now changed their minds. They want ME to give back the furniture FIRST! Then, maybe, they'll send a check. Based on my experience with them, that is not likely. I also do not want to wait another month until their next delivery of damaged goods.
