Assembly is a nightmare! 4 people and 5 hours! Maybe we just got a bad one, but holes were mis-drilled so things wouldn't line up. We ended up just throwing away the top shelf because there was no way it would line up. I'm no newbie to assembling furniture from a box either - Ikea is my middle name. This was my first failure. Do yourself a favor and find another desk.
