And there is more room inside than I thought there would be from looking at the picture. One suggestion to would-be users: Store your booty in a ziplock bag with a little dessicant to avoid dampness from inside condensation or outside water intrusions.

Just as described its a .15 cubic feet fire safe storage... I really hope never to test it as it would mean my house was on fire.
It's very heavy, and construction seems to be of very good quality, inside/outside shell is plastic, however it must have some other material between the plastic layers due to weight, lock works perfectly.
I have a bunch of important stuff in it, I was able to fit everything perfectly inside.
And for 23.38 is not much to have a little peace of mind.

I have a small floor safe, but not Fire safe, this unit fits inside, now have both protection. Seems to be quality product, hope I never have to find out. Thx. Amazon.

It's heavy and big, which means you can fit many important documents inside, like birth certificates, Social Security cards, IDs, cash, wills, life insurance policies, etc. It's fire proof, due to the plastic exterior coated over solid steel and the steel interior. It can be stored anywhere and comes with its own keys.
